The Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) Oyo State Chapter is a regional arm of the Nigerian Computer Society, the umbrella organization for all Information Technology (IT) professionals, interest groups, and stakeholders in Nigeria. The NCS Oyo State Chapter serves as a professional association that promotes the advancement of computer science, information technology, and related fields within the state.
The chapter's mission includes fostering IT development and innovation, facilitating professional growth through conferences, seminars, workshops, and training sessions, and advocating for sound IT policies in Oyo State. Additionally, the NCS Oyo State Chapter aims to enhance collaboration among IT professionals, academia, industry, and government to promote the adoption of digital technologies and drive economic growth in the region.
It also provides a platform for networking and knowledge exchange among members, contributing to the overall goals of the Nigerian Computer Society.
